Pallet Grades & Load Capacities

Please note: Load capacities are approximate and may vary depending on pallet size, construction, condition and how the pallet is loaded and handled. For specific load requirements, please contact Potteries Pallets for advice.

Grade A

Load Capacity: Up to 1,500kg

High-quality pallets in excellent condition, offering a strong and reliable solution for heavier loads. A Grade pallets have minimal signs of wear and are suitable for demanding warehouse, storage and transportation applications.

Grade B

Load Capacity: Up to 1,200kg

Good-quality used pallets that may show some signs of previous use, including minor marks, repairs or general wear. They provide a reliable and cost-effective option for a wide range of storage, handling and transportation requirements.

Grade C

Load Capacity: Up to 700kg

More heavily used pallets offering an economical solution for lighter loads and general transportation. C Grade pallets may show greater signs of wear and previous repairs but remain suitable for applications where appearance is less important.

Perimeter Base Pallets

Feature bottom boards running around the full perimeter of the pallet, providing increased strength, stability and durability. Perimeter base pallets are ideal for heavy-duty applications and are compatible with many handling systems.

Conversion Pallets

Designed with bottom runners or stringers rather than a full perimeter base. These pallets are a cost-effective solution for general handling, storage and distribution where full perimeter support is not required.

Three Legged Pallets

Three legged pallets are constructed with three timber runners (legs) beneath the deck, providing a strong, economical solution for a wide range of storage and distribution applications. They are suitable for forklift handling and are commonly used where a durable, cost-effective pallet is required for transporting goods.
